GENERAL CAMP DESCRIPTION – The 50-man camp supplied by Weatherhaven Canada Resources / Redeployable Camp Systems SA PTY LTD in 2012, provides accommodation for 52 personnel (4 senior management, 8 middle management, 32 general labour and 8 female staff) with recreation, catering, laundry and basic medical facilities. Office and general storage facilities are provided as well as refrigerated food storage. All the soft skinned shelters are installed on raised hard floors and are fitted with vestibules at the entrances, providing a hard external door and an internal mosquito door.

The camp is equipped with integrated systems for electrical generation and distribution, self contained reverse osmosis water purification plants housed inside shipping containers, storage and distribution and waste water drainage and treatment. Every facility is equipped with the necessary furnishings and fittings and its own electrical kit which provides power for lighting, air conditioning and auxiliary purposes or dedicated extensions for specific appliances.

The camp is presently packed into (44) overseas shipping containers in a highly secure yard under CCTV only minutes from Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport.
