This Smiths CTX 5800 explosives detection system was originally purchased NEW in 2018 for Guernsey Airport, but was not installed or commissioned. This is a unique opportunity to purchase high quality unused x-ray equipment from a reputable source, and Airport Assets are delighted to offer this unit for sale.
The CTX 5800 is a leading compact solution of checked baggage automated explosive detection (EDS). It is a CT (“Computed Tomography”) based system delivers high resolution 3-dimensional, 3D imagery.
Due to its small footprint & advanced detection, the CTX 5800 is highly suited for weight & size restricted environments – airports, cargo operations, government buildings, and other security critical sites.
